Starlink Installation in Al Barsha, Dubai

Al Barsha is one of Dubai’s most varied neighbourhoods. Al Barsha 1 near Mall of the Emirates mixes mid-rise apartment blocks with hotels and offices, while Al Barsha 2 and 3 and Al Barsha South are dominated by independent villas and low-rise homes. That mix shapes how Starlink should be installed, and Borassus Electronics LLC plans each job around the property type rather than using one approach for every home.

Starlink for Al Barsha Villas

Most villas in Al Barsha 2 and 3 have flat, accessible roofs, which is ideal for Starlink. The main challenges are usually on the roof itself: water tanks, AC condensers and stair housings that cast a “shadow” in the dish’s view of the sky. Mature date palms and neem trees in older plots can also block part of the sky. We typically use a pipe mount to raise the dish clear of tanks and parapets, then route the cable down along existing service lines.

Large Villas and Annexes

Many Al Barsha villas have thick concrete walls, a separate majlis or a maid’s annex. One router rarely covers everything, so we often add mesh units or a wired access point so WiFi reaches every building on the plot.

Apartments and Low-Rise Buildings in Al Barsha 1

Residents of apartment blocks around the Mall of the Emirates and Al Barsha Pond Park area generally cannot mount equipment without permission. Roof access in these buildings is controlled by building management, so you will usually need written approval, and in some cases a work permit, before installation. A balcony install may be possible if the balcony faces a wide area of open sky and is not shadowed by the floor above, but this needs checking with the app first.

Typical Obstruction Issues in Al Barsha

• Rooftop water tanks and AC units on villas
• Tall palm trees in garden plots
• Neighbouring mid-rise blocks and hotels in Al Barsha 1
• Upper-floor overhangs on balconies

How Your Installation Works

1. Call or WhatsApp with your Al Barsha location and property type.
2. Confirm roof access or building approval.
3. Obstruction scan from the roof or balcony with the Starlink app.
4. Secure mounting and protected cable routing.
5. Router placement, mesh setup and activation.
6. Speed test in key rooms and handover.

Why Al Barsha Residents Choose Starlink

Al Barsha is well served by fixed-line networks, so most local customers use Starlink as a backup connection for home offices, or as a second line for busy family homes. Some use a portable kit for weekend trips, which is where our Starlink Mini service helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Starlink be installed on an Al Barsha villa roof?

Yes. Flat villa roofs in Al Barsha are usually well suited, as long as the dish is placed clear of water tanks, AC units and tall trees.

Do I need permission for Starlink in an Al Barsha apartment building?

Usually yes. Roof access and installations in apartment buildings are controlled by building management, and approval is normally required.

Can Starlink work from a balcony in Al Barsha?

Sometimes. It depends on how much open sky the balcony faces and whether the floor above blocks the view. The Starlink app’s obstruction check will show this.

How do I get WiFi to my villa annex or majlis?

Mesh units or a wired access point connected to the Starlink router can extend WiFi to separate buildings on the plot.

Can Starlink be a backup to my home internet?

Yes. Many Al Barsha customers use Starlink as a second connection for working from home.
